Biography

40 Stitches Later is an original rock band from Lansing, Michigan that includes Tony Moreno (words/guitar), Cody Wilson (lead guitar), Craig Cole (bass), and Ryan Eggebrecht (drums).

 

Their sound and vibe combines several genres and includes elements of indie, folk, americana, rock, and alt-country, while delivering candid and honest lyrics that give color to stories that paint a picture of everyday life on the canvas of hard luck, and the bite of an arctic Michigan winter.

 

Always striving to create more material, to date 40SL has released 2 full-length LPs, 2 EPs, and a Christmas single, with strong praise and critical acclaim from Alt-Country NL, the Detroit music press, and as a finalist in the 2013 Great Lakes Lyric Writing Contest.

 

Over the years, the lineup has evolved  from band to solo act back to band, but 40SL in any format promises to deliver a heartfelt, emotional, and provocative impression that will engage any listener, especially those that have an appreciation for that authentic Midwest pride, hope, and grit.
